It is a flat monthly fee with a fixed scope. You get the routine maintenance every site needs (core, theme and plugin updates, offsite backups, uptime monitoring, an SSL and security check) plus a small block of time each month for the little fixes that pile up: a broken form, a plugin conflict, a price that needs changing.
We work on WordPress, OpenCart and Drupal, and on plain static or PHP sites. No long contract, and you can cancel with a month’s notice if it is not earning its keep.
Every Starter plan covers the routine work, done on a schedule, plus a monthly block of hands-on time.
This fits a brochure site, a small shop, or a blog that earns its keep but does not change much week to week. You want it to stay up, stay patched, and have a backup that works, without paying agency retainer rates or learning to do it yourself.
If your site is mission-critical, takes orders around the clock, or needs same-day emergency response, the Starter plan is too light. Look at the Pro retainer instead, which adds a faster response time and more monthly hours. We will tell you honestly which one fits when you ask.

We set up monitoring and backups in the first few days, take a baseline of the site, and agree a regular update window. After that it runs quietly. You get a short monthly note: what we updated, what the scan found, and how the backup restore went. The 30-minute fix block resets each month, and we tell you before anything runs over, so there are no surprise charges.
We take access, set up offsite backups and uptime monitoring, and snapshot the current site.

If you need more hands-on hours, a faster response, or WordPress-specific work like WooCommerce upkeep, the Pro retainer is the better value. Bigger jobs outside the plan are quoted separately before we touch anything.
