Every result for “managed VPS service” is a hosting company selling you their server. That’s fine until you realise the thing you actually need isn’t another box — it’s someone to run the box you already have. We’re that someone.
We manage virtual servers wherever they live. Your Hetzner instance, your DigitalOcean droplet, an AWS Lightsail box, or a VPS from a provider you signed up with two years ago and haven’t logged into since. You keep the server and the bill in your own name; we handle the part you don’t want to: updates, security, backups, performance, and the 2 a.m. “site is down” that you’d otherwise be debugging yourself. No migration required, no lock-in to our infrastructure, because we don’t sell infrastructure.
"Managed" means different things to different providers, and most of them mean "we'll reboot it if you ask." Here's what we mean by it.

Hosting providers want you on their plan because the plan is the product. We don’t, because management is our product. That means we’ll happily tell you Hetzner is better value than the box you’re on, or that your DigitalOcean droplet is oversized for your traffic — advice a host that’s selling you the server has no reason to give. You stay in control of where your site lives and what it costs; we just keep it running well.
An unmanaged VPS is cheaper on paper and expensive in practice. The savings disappear the first time you spend a Saturday tracing why MySQL keeps dying, or the first time a missed security update turns into a compromised box and a restore-from-backup scramble. Managed support is the trade: a predictable monthly fee instead of unpredictable lost evenings and the occasional emergency. If you’d rather spend that time on your business, that’s the whole pitch.
Run it yourself if you’re comfortable on the command line and your server is a hobby you enjoy. Hand it over when downtime costs you money, when you don’t know whether your backups actually restore, when security updates have been sitting unapplied because nobody owns them, or when you’re spending evenings on server problems instead of the work that pays you. Plenty of our clients ran their own VPS fine for a year and called us the week after the first outage they couldn’t fix quickly.
