Search “linux server support” and you get two kinds of result: enterprise vendors who want a contract and a sales call before anyone quotes you, and “what is a Linux server” explainers that don’t help once yours is on fire. There’s a Reddit thread that’s been open for years where sysadmins ask, basically, who does third-party Linux support for a normal business. That’s the gap we sit in. We run production Linux every day, from CyberPanel and cPanel boxes to plain Ubuntu and AlmaLinux behind nginx or LiteSpeed, and we’ll work on the server you already have, wherever it’s hosted.

Five things we configure on a new server

A fresh VPS from any host ships wide open and untuned. Before it touches production we work through the list below. Most single-server setups are done in 1-2 business days.

SSH and access lockdown

Key-only login, root login off, a non-root sudo user, and the SSH port moved off 22 to cut the constant brute-force noise in your auth log.

Firewall and fail2ban

UFW or firewalld with only the ports you actually use open, plus fail2ban watching SSH and your panel login so repeat offenders get banned automatically.

Backups that you can restore

Off-server backups on a schedule, with a restore test. A backup you've never restored is a guess, not a backup.

Monitoring and alerts

Disk, RAM, load and uptime checks that message you before the server falls over, not after a customer emails to say the site is down.

Updates and a reboot plan

Unattended security updates where they're safe, a manual plan where they're not, and kernel reboots scheduled instead of skipped for two years.

We know the control panels, not just the shell

Most business Linux boxes run a control panel, and the panel is where things break. We run CyberPanel on production, manage cPanel and WHM servers, and handle Plesk too. So when LiteSpeed won’t start or a WHM account restore fails halfway, you’re not explaining the basics to someone reading a script.

We’re a small team, not a 24/7 NOC. If you need a guaranteed 15-minute response at 3am every night of the year, an enterprise vendor is a better fit and we’ll say so. What we do well: getting a server set up right, fixing one that’s misbehaving, hardening one that’s exposed, and keeping a handful of boxes healthy on a monthly retainer. We don’t resell hosting, so the recommendation you get isn’t us steering you onto our own servers.

Call us when the box is slower than it should be and nobody can say why, when the last person who set it up has left, when an audit flagged it, or when you’re spending evenings on sysadmin work instead of your actual job.
